Puthi Halot-un-Nobi

The photograph below is the front page of the puthi 'Halot-un-Nobi' ('Account of the Prophet'), composed by Sadeq Ali (born 1800 CE, formerly known as Gouro Kishor Sen) of Daulatpur, Langla, Moulvibazar, Sylhet. 'Halot-un-Nobi', a printed puthi of 275 pages, was the most widely printed of all books in the Siloṭi Nagri script. It describes the life and times of Mohammed (R:).
